I was really just trying to visualize this really emo, FF7 Cloud-like, character that I fantasized the other day. Somehow I ended up giving him a penguin suit. He isn’t really playing on piano, but typing on a trekkie-like computer.

The fantasy is basically about this guy in a partially futuristic world who fails to fill his expectations, while excelling in other arts of technology, communications and pure cunningness- to the point of total freakiness.

Abit like a super-me maybe?

3D Mouse (for cursors)

I’ve no idea about how to make 3D screens, but here’s at least my idea of a 3D mouse:

Make a guess at how you use it.

With a thing like this, you should be able to move a cursor in three dimensions - right, left, in and out - don’t make that four. I bet something like this could be helpful in 3D drawing. The third dimension could possibly also be used to change values of the things you hover over in the two other dimensions.

Farming on the water

This should be in my series of crazy ideas….

On the sea you have everything a human being needs - water, seafood and sun - maybe you could even farm by somehow having some seafloor soil float on or near the surface. The problems that I can think, that I want to think of solutions to, would probably be… salt, which can destroy the plants… the weather, waves and storms making living uncomfortable… and there’s always the sea monsters.

First of all, how do you get the house and all the farmland to float?

- Air-filled floating bridges with nets in between ofcourse… designing it would probably be demanding. To make them stand right I guess you might have to have some weight hanging down from them.

How do you get rid of the salt?

- This giant filter, or “balloon” or whatever, under the whole farmland keeping saltwater out of the works. There are machines that filter out the salt, right? Such a machine could stand pumping in fresh water into the farmland. I guess the balloon would be vulnerable.

To make the farmland stay in one position I guess you’ll need one or more anchors. ;-p

So how could you get a cheap comfy apartment floating on the sea?

- No idea, my guess is something that is rooted to the sea floor with multiple anchors so that it is actually abit below the surface. It should be lighter than the sea around it so that it would “want” to float up. I’ve no real idea if this would help stabilize the house if there came waves.

Dino-angel

I was thinking of creationists when I was making this, but something tells me that ordinary religious folks could get provoked by this one aswell.

Did the dinosaurs get to Heaven? Did they get to Heaven only if they believed in God? Did they get to a different Heaven maybe? Is it only humans who get to Heaven? If that’s the case I find Christianity to be incredibly unfair towards animals.

I am sorry for my ignorance, but I have not bothered to read the Bible. Hopefully the Bible can tell whether the dinosaurs got to Heaven.

Teacher tells of Soviet

I was thinking of how interesting clothes could be in fantasy worlds, in contrast to the dull reality where you have to take petty stuff like comfort into consideration. The teacher talked of how communism originated, and I ended up colouring the coat red and yellow - like that red flag with the sickle and hammer.

Dunno what to think of communism. Apparently Soviet killed thousands, prolly more, people… I’ve yet to hear how. Personally I live in a social democracy, Norway, and am not too unhappy about it. Communism is probably something I need to get more educated on…

Usually my characters are from some fantasy world I made up, this one isn’t. Here’s a similar pic I drew prolly when I was 13-14 something which was from a rather complicated fantasy world - Link.

Class Boredom

This is something I drew when I was terribly bored in class, which I always am… anyway.

I usually don’t draw in class, but now my ability to listen to what the teacher says has depleted from a 100% to nil. I don’t think it’s going to get any better anytime soon, so there will probably be more pics drawn during lessons here in the future.

I once dreamt of becoming an artist, but then I heard something about such that conflicted with my plan of becoming a billioneer - so art is really just something I want to do on the side. ;-p
